The Trust has been in contact with the Highways Agency regarding the proposed bypass and has expressed its concerns should the route go through Singleton Park.

These concerns include: the historical context of the Park, the detrimental effect to the farming of the land and the potential damage to the Walks, which have been provided for the benefit of the community.
