Walking around Singleton Park & Great Singleton

Richard Dumbreck Singleton Trust Crest The Trust has opened up Singleton Park and some adjoining farmland so that residents and visitors can enjoy the local heritage and this attractive natural environment. It, with funding from the Forestry Commission and the Lancashire Environmental Fund, has built wheelchair friendly permissive footpaths with accessible kissing gates linking these to existing public rights of way. In the near future, the Trust plan to build more paths linking up with Lodge Lane.

In the surrounding farmland, the Trust has developed permissive footpaths on grass that link to an existing footpath giving a circular walk from the Church around Grange Hill Wood. These circular routes are designed to link up and give approximately 5km of walks.
