Woodland Walks Phase 2

Work on the second phase of the permissive footpaths in Singleton Park is now drawing to a close and the new paths should be open to the public shortly. This will complete the link from Caudle Wood through to Lodge Lane by South Lodge and then through the parkland following the line of the main road almost to the entrance with Singleton Lodge Hotel.

A Landscape Architect has started to look at options for the Village Green and Peace Garden which will be sited between the Miller Arms and Church Road. Within the next six months, the Trust will present various ideas to the community and this will be your opportunity to provide input into the design of what will become a focal point in the village.

Trust Residential Properties

This financial year the Trust will have spent over £100,000 on the ongoing maintenance of their residential properties. Four properties have been re-roofed and work is in hand to replace windows on a further 5 properties. In addition, several properties have become vacant and prior to being re-let, they have been refurbished.
