Financial Summary for 2015-2016

In the last financial year the Trust has spent approximately 85% of its annual rental income on renovations and repairs to Trust properties in the village and donations to the village school and other village based groups. Also, the financial assets owned by the Trust continue to give acceptable returns despite the uncertainties of the financial markets.

Singleton Woodland Volunteer Group

Thanks go to John Highton and Patrick Allen as well as all other volunteers who have given their time to help maintain the woodlands and new paths within Singleton Park. The Trust has donated money to the group to enable them to buy a small tractor and other tools to manage the woodland and paths more effectively.

The garden plots have all been let out to local people and are being enjoyed to the full. John & Karen Ashcroft have two plots and have recently been featured in the Gardens World' magazine (on the same page as Alan Titchmarsh no less) when they won the national 'Most Passionate Plotter' competition. Woodland Walks Phase 2

Work on the second phase of the permissive footpaths in Singleton Park is now drawing to a close and the new paths should be open to the public shortly. This will complete the link from Caudle Wood through to Lodge Lane by South Lodge and then through the parkland following the line of the main road almost to the entrance with Singleton Lodge Hotel.
