A Landscape Architect has started to look at options for the Village Green and Peace Garden, the former of which will be sited between the Miller Arms and Church Road. Within the next six months, the Trust will present various ideas about the village green to the community and this will be your opportunity to provide input into the design of what will become a focal point in the village.

Financial Summary for 2015-2016

In the last financial year the Trust has spent approximately 85% of its annual rental income on renovations and repairs to Trust properties in the village and donations to the village school and other village based groups. Also, the financial assets owned by the Trust continue to give acceptable returns despite the uncertainties of the financial markets.

Singleton Woodland Volunteer Group

Thanks go to John Highton and Patrick Allen as well as all other volunteers who have given their time to help maintain the woodlands and new paths within Singleton Park. The Trust has donated money to the group to enable them to buy a small tractor and other tools to manage the woodland and paths more effectively.
